A Sense of Place by Sonia Anthony
This gorgeous publication was launched last year at Bendigo Writers Festival.
Sonia Anthony, from Masons of Bendigo, worked with Amy Doak in Bendigo, to create a browser-book full of information and recipes, about the producers of Central Victoria.
With her exuberant, friendly, knowledgeable style, Sonia gets her hands dirty and fossicks with the people who are passionate about food. From paddock to plate has become something of a cliche now, but this is the real thing. Working together, these producers have built Bendigo's name to become a strong regional focus for sustainable culinary excellence.
We'll be continuing that conversation about Edible Bendigo on Sunday 12 August, 10am, with Sonia, Jennifer Alden, Meg Caffin, Trevor Budge, and Prue Mansfield. Topics include - can Bendigo become a City of Gastronomy?
