Full steam ahead

It’s been a great week at Festival headquarters, with ticket sales strong and interest high, so we’re tracking well for a brilliant festival next month.

A callout for volunteers will take place next week, so keep an eye out for that, if you’re keen to get involved (or you can email us at bendigowritersfestival2019@gmail.com and we’ll pass on your inquiry to the volunteer coordinator, Deborah Blake).

A reminder about seating: only events at the very big Ulumbarra Theatre are open to both pass-holders and ticket-buyers, so no pass-holder will miss out on a seat at your chosen events because someone else has bought a single ticket. However, it is looking like some of the pass-only events will be popular, and if the room reaches capacity, that’s it. That’s part of what makes this a Festival, not just a series of events, so while we hope no one misses out on a session they want to attend, it’s a good idea to turn up in plenty of time for events you particularly want to hear.

And don’t forget there are three brilliant “entree” events in very different, very interesting venues, on Friday at 11am, so if you’re in town, it’s a great way to start your Festival weekend.
