Marilyn Waring

Marilyn Waring is a renowned feminist, political economist, and author. In 1975, 22 year old Marilyn became the youngest Member in the New Zealand Parliament. At 24, she became Chairperson of the Public Expenditures Committee, travelled to over 35 countries in this capacity and discovered that international accounting systems around the globe do not count many things, most notably the work that women do.

Her new book is The Political Years.
