The Hub will be staffed throughout the festival and is a space to relax, have a cuppa or to have your questions answered by our team.
The Festival Hub opening hours:
Friday: 8:30am – 7.30pm
Saturday: 8:30am – 5pm
Sunday: 8:30am – 4pm

Up to 2 guests per presenter are permitted to attend each Festival Session in which they appear free of charge. Your guests could be your partner, family, friends, publisher, agent or publicist. Please have your guests present at the door of your Session and inform the door attendant that they are your guests. The attendant will then mark them off the door list.

Yes, you will receive a non-transferable Presenter Pass when you check in at the Festival Hub.
This allows you access to festival Sessions subject to capacity. If there is a session you would be disappointed to miss it is recommended that you purchase a ticket to guarantee a seat.
Your Presenter Pass also gives you admission to:
▪ Opening Gala at The Capital, Friday 15 August @ 6.00pm
▪ Writer’s Reception on Saturday 16 August @ 6.30pm
▪ Closing Session at The Capital, Sunday 17 August @ 2.00pm

Yes, if you require transport between your accommodation and the Festival Hub please call (03) 5434 6046 or drop into the Hub during operating hours.

Transport

To help you get around, a Bendigo Bus Company shuttle will be available to transport participants between their accommodation, Bendigo Train Station, and the Festival Hub during the following times:
Friday: 8:30am – 3.30pm
Saturday: 8:45am – 5pm
Sunday: 8:45am – 2:30pm
If you require pickup from Bendigo Train Station, please call the festival hub 03 5434 6046 to arrange this.

For those staying at Barclay on View or City Centre Motel, the Festival Hub at The Capital is just a short walk away.
For participants staying at the following hotels, the bus will pick you up approximately 75 minutes before your session, allowing time to check in at the Festival Hub:
Quest Bendigo Central: Pickup at the front entrance on High Street
Alexandra Place: Pickup behind the motel on Holt Street
National Hotel: Pickup at the rear entrance off Honeysuckle Street
Return transport will also be available after your session if needed.

Yes, the bus will transport any participants back to their accommodation or the train station following the last session of the day.
The bus will operate:
Friday: 8:30am – 3:30pm
Saturday: 8:45am – 5pm
Sunday: 8:45am – 2:30pm
