Bendigo Writers Festival is curated by the Artistic Director and Guest Curators, in wide consultation with publishers and industry bodies. Participation is by invitation, and due to the large quantity of messages we receive, we are not always able to reply to individual pitches.

Bendigo Writers Festival partners with a local bookseller to provide a Festival Bookshop.

The Festival Bookshop carries titles of writers on the Festival Program and those of our presenting partners and sponsors.

Bendigo Writers Festival is delivered by Bendigo Venues & Events, a service unit of the City of Greater Bendigo.

Any available employment opportunities will always be advertised on The City’s website.

The Bendigo Writers Festival very much relies on an enthusiastic volunteer workforce to deliver this fabulous event.
