Bonny Cassidy

Bonny Cassidy is the author of three poetry collections and one book of nonfiction. Her work has been widely acclaimed and shortlisted for the Prime Minister’s Literary Awards, Victorian Premier’s Literary Awards and Queensland Literary Awards, and the Nature Conservancy’s Nature Writing Prize among others. Bonny is a critic, editor and internationally recognised scholar of Australian literature. She runs The Understory Collective, offering mentorship and collaboration with creative writers and the wider community. Bonny lives off-grid in woodland on Djaara Country.
