Dr Kelly Gardiner
Kelly Gardiner's new crime novel, Miss Caroline Bingley, Private Detective, is inspired by Jane Austen and co-authored with Sharmini Kumar.
Her recent books include The Firewatcher Chronicles and 1917, shortlisted for the NSW Premier’s Young People’s History Prize. Previous novels include Act of Faith and The Sultan’s Eyes, and Goddess, which is being adapted for the screen.
Kelly taught creative writing at La Trobe University for many years, and is now an Adjunct Senior Research Fellow. She writes full-time and runs writing retreats and masterclasses.
